LiveGrow™ helps companies commercialize microbial products profitably
-
Accelerated R&D
Save years and millions of dollars in product development. LiveGrow’s technology formulates Gram‑negative, Gram‑positive, or fungal microbes into commercial products in as little as one to three months—at a fraction of the usual cost. By starting with a market‑ready formulation, you slash rework and retesting, speeding up time to market.
-
High-Margin Scale-Up
Enter each crop market with strong margins. LiveGrow’s proprietary manufacturing model reduces COGS by up to 95%—especially for Gram‑negative products—while delivering high microbial concentrations for two years or more without refrigeration. It’s a turnkey solution that works with existing distribution channels to boost profitability.
-
High On-Field Efficacy
Achieve superior performance with fewer inputs. LiveGrow’s formulations contain live microbes—just like liquid products—but encase them in protective particles to prevent immediate soil predation. With more organisms surviving, farmers can use less product per acre and still see strong results—all while applying with existing equipment.
2+ Years Shelf Life at High Concentration
Our novel and patented formulation stabilizes microbes in the liquid inside proprietary particles allowing them to remain functional at high concentrations of 10⁶-10⁸ cfu/g for 2+ years at room temperature. This allows LiveGrow™ formulated products to fit the current distribution model used by the crop protection industry.
Up to 95% Reduction in COGS
LiveGrow™ manufacturing model uses an innovative fermentation & formulation process that simplifies commercial scale up of any microbe, dramatically lowers cost of goods, allowing our clients to launch a microbial product for any market at high margins of over 75%.
Superior Efficacy in the Field
LiveGrow™ delivers metabolically active microbes that begin working immediately upon application. Encased in our protective formulation, they’re shielded from predation in the soil, ensuring more organisms survive and thrive. The result? Faster, more consistent performance with fewer inputs—boosting yield and profitability right from the start.

FAQs
How can LiveGrow Bio help my business?
LiveGrow™ Technology can dramatically reduce the time & costs associated with microbial product development and subsequent manufacturing scale-up. Once ready for commercialization, LiveGrow™ formulated products are cheaper to produce while featuring significantly increased shelf life and field performance when compared to standard dry or liquid formulated products. Through this combination of low cost of goods, extended shelf life at room temperature, and increased field performance our partners are able to profitably introduce a biostimulant or biopesticide to every crop market and even compete with chemical solutions on price and shelf life, not just on efficacy.
How does LiveGrow™ shorten the overall R&D timeline?
By providing a commercial‑ready formulation from day one, you can run field trials and shelf‑life tests in parallel—cutting your R&D timeline by at least two years.
Why does using LiveGrow’s formulation lower R&D costs?
With fewer field trials required for commercial validation, you save both time and resources. Our approach lets you prove product performance sooner and more cost‑effectively.
What’s the benefit of testing a commercial‑grade formulation rather than lab samples?
You get more accurate data on real‑world efficacy. Because LiveGrow™ yields a fully formulated product, field trial outcomes directly reflect commercial performance.
How does LiveGrow™ support shelf‑life analysis?
Our technology provides final packaging early in development, letting you conduct long‑term stability tests at the same time as field trials—streamlining your path to commercialization.
Can LiveGrow™ guarantee cost‑effective manufacturing at scale?
Yes. Our simplified production process ensures your microbe can be manufactured reliably and affordably once it’s market‑ready, giving you peace of mind for full‑scale launch.
Is your product formulation liquid or solid?
LiveGrow™ microbial product formulation is not a standard dry or liquid formulation and it is not manufactured using existing liquid or solid state fermentation processes and subsequent required stabilization methods prior to retail packaging. It consists of tiny solid particles containing liquid and live metabolically active bacteria inside each particle, resulting in a stable formulation of any microbe, spore or non-spore forming, with superior field performance and shelf life of 2+ years at room temperature. It is manufactured in a modular way and easily scaled up by shifting the currently complex and expensive fermentation and stabilization steps inside the final retail packaging. This innovative change in manufacturing flow removes the need for high cost fermentation and stabilization facilities/practices and results in a product COGS on par with chemicals and significantly lower than any biological produced using standard manufacturing.
We’ve had a hard time developing a commercial formulation of a Gam-negative microbe, can you really keep them stable?
Yes, in fact our technology was first developed specifically to work with non-spore-forming microbes. Some examples or ambient storage for 2.4 years include: Enterobacter ludwigii at 7.3×10⁸ CFU/g , Bacillus sp. 3KT at 4.2×10⁹ CFU/g, Pseudomonas marginalis at 3.4×10⁶ CFU/g.
